Introduction: Power Wheels Barbie Jeep to Batman's Batmobile
This is a conversion of a little tikes electric jeep to a child's bad to the bone Halloween Batmobile. Cruising and trick or treating in style! There were different construction meathods used. Sheet foam, great stuff foam, paper mâché, drywall joint compound, 1/8" plywood, and a ton of imagination.
Step 1: Disassemble- Cut - Stretch and Form
Chopped up the jeep with a sawsall... Preserving the electrical components. Stretched the front abut 4' using an old 2x6 for strength. The side profile was initially sketched on cheap white foam and then hot melt glued to the plastic parts. The cockpit was constructed from 1/8" plywood. Sides and floor. The turbine intake was built with strips of wood and covered in paper mâché.
Step 2: Form - Fill - Sand - Sand - Foam
Step 3: Paper Mâché - Fill With Drywall Mud - Shape With Card Board - Paint With Latex Paint to See What Errors Show Up...
Step 4: Finishing Touches and Paint.
Step 5: Test and Ride!

Thanks, he is, however I made this for a neighbor kid. It was an idea concocted after a fall evening of "socializing" with neighbor friends.
Thanks again,
