Making a Simple Casted Aluminum Phone Rack

I needed some phone stand to use my phone for watching videos. That's why I've decided to make a Simple Aluminum Phone Rack.

Step 1: Making a Pattern

To make a pattern I glued 2 pieces of decorative plastic foam.

Step 2: Pouring Aluminum

I chose good quality aluminum alloy, melted and poured it inside the mold.

Step 3: Open the Mold, Processing

When the item becоmes solid it's time to open the mold and process the phone stand.

Step 4: Final Result

The phone stand looks enough unique and it's really comfortable to use it.

With only a slight modification of the blank, you could make a bat profiled aluminum bar and cut slices of that to make batarangs. Just saying
