Masking Tape Painting

You will need all of these items to make this painting and if you are planing on doing a galaxy painting like me you could use a normal painting brush to make stars.

Supplies

• Canvas
• Paint
• Masking tape
• Sponge brush

Step 1:

First, you will need to tape the masking tape on the canvas in shapes that you like. I just added tape going across in different directions randomly. Make sure you press down on the masking tap firmly so the paint doesn't go under it.

Step 2:

Next, pick some colors that you like together or you could use warm colors together or cold color together. For mine I used a light and dark blue, light and dark pink, silver, and glitter paint, black,and to get purple I just blended the blue with the pink. When you chose your colors you will use the sponge brush the paint the colors on the canvas and blend them together.

Step 3:

Lastly, if you want to go a step further you could use white paint to splatter the canvas for stars I didn't have white paint so I just used light gray paint and it still looked really good. Now you can take off the tape from the canvas and now you are done.
