Introduction: Mason Jar Photos

About: My name is Andrew and I just really enjoy creating/building things. I love me some Star Wars... and other nerdy things. I also love the Outdoors and anything that deals with being outside.
Very simple gift for friends and family! I think I did 3 jars in less than 30 minutes. It's also not that expensive.

Materials - burlap, mason jars, photos, hot glue gun, scissors, and olive oil

Step 1: Cut Your Photos Down to Size

Cut down your photograph to slightly bigger than the width of the jar. Start off big then go small if needed.

Step 2: Put the Photo in the Jar

if you like the size of your photo place it in the jar and fill it with the olive oil.

Step 3: Make the Bow

Cut strips of burlap to cover the jar lid and to make the bows. Glue one of the strips around the jar. Loop another piece of burlap to the width of the jar. Cut off the excess to use to wrap around the bow. Glue the excess strip on the back and wrap it around. Then glue again. Now you have your bow. This was my first time making a bow so if you know a better way by all means do it however you want :) I'm no bow expert but I like the simple look.

Step 4: Glue the Bow on and You're Done!!!

Before and after of the jars with and without the burlap. Made these as gifts. Hope you enjoy yours!
