Introduction: Micro: Bit Sacred Stone Light

About: i'm a normal tinkercad user at south korea (https://www.tinkercad.com/users/aNdMHtbigLu-heamou/) and i joined instructables because a lot of people's been doing this and i really like all those complicated DIY…

sooo....basically i made a mood light that looks like a sacred magik stone thing, and i'm pretty happy how this came out.

Supplies

you will need:

a micro: bit

a makecode program

a thick sheet of paper

tape & scissors

drawing/coloring tools

Step 1: Install Code

sooo...i basically made a soft blinking light program. let's download it to our handy micro: bit.

Step 2: Making the Body

time for some real work! let's draw out a planar figure for a flat triangular pole on some thick paper. be sure to make the pole larger then the micro: bit. afther you've finished drawing it, draw it all over again with some pens. paint just one of the triangles in red/orange(with some sacred marks). that part is going to be the upside. cut it out, fold it, tape it(leave some spot sas shown in the picture), and we're finished making the body!

kinda looks like cake

Step 3: The Stand

time to add the stand to balance the body. cut out a small, very long sqaure, fold it over vertically many times, and tape it on the back of the body.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

lastly, put the blinking micro bit and it's battery pack in the body. after that, install a paper lock(shown in picture)at the body.

Step 5: Finished!

it's done! just wait till your friends see a faint glowing light from a strange stone....

it's perfect for mood lights and decorations for halloween.
