Just letting you know, it's the first favorite, spelt like favortie in the ingredients' list :)
Made it last nite. I do not have a hot chocolate maker i just used a small pot and it came out pretty good. My wife loved it. Keep it up .
For one, half of my post (the dairy-based and automatic hot chocolate maker comments) was not so serious, but written tongue-in-cheek... I understand without tonal cues and visible expressions, it is hard to impart dry humor, sarcasm, etc.

But for two, I am serious about instructables. I love this site for all it is, all itcan be, and all it should be. I detest spammers, of which there is an ever-growing number. Some companies think (and rightly so) that if they put up a half-assed instructable, with tons of product placement and links to the product pages, they can get free promotion for their product. While that is true, it is typically  half-assed instructable not worthy of this site. And since the aim was not to instruct, but to peddle unsolicited advertising, it is Spam.

I did not flag this 'ible as spam, I just mentioned the temptation, so that the author (whom I now know to be a group, not an individual) could possibly think on that when making their next instructable.

I understand - and I share your desire for quality (I wish that attitude was more abundant on YouTube for example), but I just wanted to make sure you knew this Instructable was not "brought to you by Stephens Hot Coca Mix and these fine sponsors".

Could you add into the Instructable how one might do this without a Back to Basics Cocoa-Latte machine (or equivalent?)

Okay, how lazy are you when you use an automatic hot chocolate maker?!?

Also, why recommend water-based hot chocolate, when it can never compare to dairy based?

And finally, I understand everyone has preferences, but I am tempted to cry Spam for the sheer amount of promoting/advertising going on in this 'ible!
You must realize this is a shared account for a high school class. It was used for an exercise to show how to make clear instructions in writing. Its not spam.

And dairy based hot chocolate is better.

But I beg the question - why so serious dude.
