2 rubber bands

Step 1:

take 8 pieces of cardboard 18 inches by 10 inches.

Draw an outline of a bow and cut it all out using a blade.

Step 2:

Take 2 pieces and trace 4 popsicle sticks, then cut out top layer of cardboard so popsicle sticks fit flash.

Glue them with super glue, this will give an extra strength.

Using hot glue, glue another piece on top of reinforced one.

Take another 2 pieces and cut the middle out 1 1/2 in. right in the center and glue them with hot glue.

Step 3:

take the last 2 pieces and cut the middle out also ( 1 1/2 in.) then make a long notch ( see pic.) and notch middle edge to fit 1" popsicle stick and 1 1/4 " roller. Insert them as shown on the pic. secure with few drops of super glue. Cut 1" wood dowels (3/16 diameter) 4 pieces, insert them as shown, these will be attachment points for the string.

Step 4:

Attach to nylon string with few drops of super glue, put another piece on top .

Step 5:

Now make an arrow.

Take 3/16 wood dowel 12" long glue cut out cardboard pieces on both sides with super glue.

Make a tip with 3 pieces of cardboard glued together, cut thin strip from black craft foam and glue around the tip on an arrow, cut out thick craft foam and glue it on each side of the tip of an arrow using super glue.

Step 6:

Now final step. Paint it!

But draw out lines outlining each individual squares on the pattern it will make it easier to fill in those squares with paint.
