Minecraft PE Duplication Glitch

Step 1: What You Need

Land, Minecraft PE, the item you want to duplicate, a chest, and YOU.

Step 2: Chest

Put your item in your chest.

Step 3: Quit to Title

Quit to title. Go back on your world.

Step 4: Take a Walk

Go 50- 100 blocks away from your chest.

Step 5: Home

Go to your home screen. Double tap and hold down the app Minecraft. Tap the minus button. For iOS 7, double tap and slide Minecraft up.

Step 6: Almost Done...

Go back on to Minecraft and your world. Then walk back to your chest, open it up and your done!

I am sorry this has not worked for a lot of people. This is an old glitch that doesn't work on the current Minecraft iOS version. Sorry for any confusion!

My son managed to do this with an item portrait, not sure how exactly but this is was on the latest PE version.

There's another method that works for me.. All I do is put the item I want to duplicate into a chest then ask a friend/whoever to go into the chest as well. Once you've put it in the chest what you want to do is hold on to the item so it goes in to your inventory. When the bar above the item is half way full with green ask your friend or whoever you're playing with to also hold the item, you have to hold onto it until it goes into their inventory, make sure your friend/whoever does the same. Then you put the item back into the chest and tell you're friend to do the same and once both of you have put it in, the amount will have increased. It may sound confusing but it's really easy. *Disclaimer: May not work with all devices.*

Very easy iOS glitch on current version. Drop the item, back up 5 blocks wait 5 seconds. Pick up the item and back up 5 blocks again then immediately close the app. Open your save and the item will be on the ground in front of you and in your inventory

I know another one and its a lot easier. It works for me (Android), but I'm not sure if it works for other minecrafts other than Android.

So first put all the items in your inventory into a chest. Leave the item you want to duplicate. It should be occupying the first hotbar and should be no less than 2.

tap the hotbar and quickly tap the second hotbar. HOLD IT and wait for about 7-15 seconds. The duplicate item should be thrown in front of you. Collect it and VOILA! You now duplicated an item!! :)

Note: This does not work in all items of Minecraft PE. But heey, it works in iron and gold ingots, and cobblestone too! And many other blocks... :)

Don't listen to this. It rarely ever works and is very inefficient. I got.a better one.
First you need
A chest
Two multiplayer compatible phones with Minecraft
Land

Now your going to place what you need in the chest and make the other device join.
Both go into the chest. At the same exact time with both (FOR EXAMPLE:IPHONES$
And try to select the items out of the chest. Both devices must be clicking on that item. It will take you a few tries to get down but that's how I cheat in my materials.
