Introduction: Mini Beach in a Globe Pendant/Wishing Bottle/Cloche Dome

I made some tiny pendants and displays of tiny bottles of seashells, urchin spines and shark teeth!

Supplies

Epoxy or E6000 Glue, Sand, Tiny Seashells, Toothpick, Cardboard or plastic to mix epoxy on, Funnel/paper/tiny scoop, Glass vials/globes, bails for attaching to globes. To find your vessels, search for "tiny cloche domes, tiny wishing bottles and tiny glass globe pendants"

Step 1:

Step One: Go to the beach! In the sand, you can find tiny seashells, or you can use a sifter to find them within the sand. Collect sand and tiny shells and bring them home. Let them dry for a few days. Purchase Tiny wishing bottles or globes with bails. You can also use tiny cloche domes with corks. Buy epoxy or E6000 glue.

Step 2:

Once the sand and seashells have dried for a few days, using a small scoop or a piece of paper shaped into a funnel, add a small amount of sand to the bottom of the container you are filling. Then add a few tiny shells, shark teeth or whatever you find!

Step 3:

Put a small amount of each of the types of epoxy on a piece of cardboard or plastic and mix with a toothpick. Then add to the bottom of the bail and glue on. To dry, I cut x's into the top of an old box and set the items in the slots to dry.

Step 4:

Let the glue or epoxy dry for 24 hours before attaching to a chain or string to the necklace, or put your treasures on display!
