Introduction: Mini Chalkboard Necklace
This little necklace is easy and useful! We made these as a craft for a birthday party and they were a big hit!
Step 1: Supplies

You will need: • a work surface that can get a little dirty
• black paint (most work) OR chalkboard paint
•miniature clipboard clips
•small wooden rectangles
• cord color of your choice

Step 3: Painting

Paint the surface of the rectangle. NOT TO MUCH or it will take forever to dry! Just a thin layer- wipe of excess. Let it dry well.

Step 4: Cord

Cut your cord to the desired length but so that it comfortably fits over your head- be sure to leave a little extra for the knots!

Step 5: Knot #1

Tie a knot at the open end of your cord.

Step 6: Through the Back

Put the loop end of the cord through the back hole on the clip.

Put the loop end through the knotted end so you make a small knot as shown above.

Step 8: Wash?

You may want to take this time to wash out your brush... so it doesn't dry out and get ruined.

Step 9: Chalk & Eraser

If your wood is not dry yet this is a good thing to do so when it does dry you can try it out right away! :)

Step 10: Wrap the Chalk

Wrap up the chalk in the felt and tie it with the cord...

Step 11: Taa Daa!

Only when your wood is completely dry, put the clip on the top.
Then if you want to you can clip the cord from the eraser onto the back.
All done! Keep crafting!
