I once saw a picture on Pinterest which lead me to this website of champagne corks painted to be a bride and groom. I thought I’d have a go and they turned out really well, so I have decided to write an Instructable on how to make them yourself.

Supplies

Champagne corks
Some paints (acrylic would be best)
A sharpie (or other thin(ish) permanent marker)
Patience

Step 1: Choosing Your Corks

This is the part where you choose your corks. You ideally don’t want a logo covering most of the cork but you might be able to cover most of the logo with paint. You should use the more straight and less shaped corks for the men and the more shaped ones for the women (the one on the left is for a female and the one on the right is for a male).

Step 2: Painting

What you paint on your corks is up to you. Don't worry about the details yet, since you can add these later with a sharpie. Make sure to orient the person so that if there is a logo, most of it will be covered up by the paint. Afterwards, leave your paint to dry. If you are impatient like me, you can use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process. Make sure all of the paint is dry before going on to the next step.
