About: We love k'nex, 3d printing, electronics, painting and all sorts of other cool things.

I made this flashlight to see how small I could make one I succeeded in making one that is 16.5 mm small. the case is 3D printed and has a resolution of 0.1 mm that worked very well.

Supplies

2.3/4 in strip of printer paper 1x

LR521H button batteries 2x

Flashlight case 1x (See step 1 for the file.)

electrical tape.

white LED 1x

Step 1: Printing the Case

Bellow is the stl file for the flashlight case. It takes about 10 min to print with a resolution of 0.1 mm.

Step 2: The LED

this step is just preparing the LED for the battery pack and putting it in the case.

Step 3: The Battery Case.

This is the battery pack for the flashlight. Once you put it in bend the positive lead of the LED so it almost touches the batteries.

Step 4: The Top

The top is made out of electrical tape with more electrical tape to hold it on. When you push down on the electrical tape, it turns on the LED.
