Introduction: Mini-Helmet Fan or Light Pull

My shop light didn't come with a pull at the end of its beaded cord. This is easier to pull, and adds some personality.

I bought the mini helmet right from NFLShop.com. I've seen them on eBay, and occasionally in those quarter-turn vending machines.

  1. Drill a 1/8" hole though the top, centering it as best you can.
  2. Rather than gluing the beaded chain in place, I pass it through the hole and place a smaller end on that keeps it in place (needs to be larger than the 1/8" hole). A bead chain connector should suffice as well. Alternatively you could use a hot glue gun (on the inside) to adhere it place.
