Introduction: Miniature Castle
My inspiration for this design was when I used to live in Florida and saw the castle at Disneyland. They have such unique designs which I believe appear magnificent in any scale. My interest in castles have grown and I think the coolest one is Neuschwanstein in Germany.
I used the Walt Disney castle as a reference.
Supplies
- Tinkercad
- 3D printer
- Paper
- Pencil
Step 1: Sketch
Draw some sketches for a potential design.
Step 2: Foundation in Tinkercad
- Create a foundation for the castle
- I chose to go for a look that resembles a hill
Step 3: Stairs and Base of Castle
- Create ascending stairs and place at front
- Create rectangular base for castle (dimensions not needed)
Step 4: Pillars
- Add some pillars surrounding the base
Step 5: Roofs
- Add cones to act as roofs on top of pillars
Step 6: Finishing Touches
- Made adjustments to pillars located in back
- Did a little rearranging and resizing
- Add windows and door
- Change color scheme
Step 7: 3D Print
- Download STL file and print with 3D printer
- Put it in support cleaning apparatus to remove white support material
Step 8: Congratulations
You now have your own castle!
