Introduction: Miniature TV Stand Model

About: We're Mother Daughter Projects, sharing our DIY adventures as we learn to maintain, improve, decorate, and use tech in our homes.

I (Steph) had been wanting to make a new TV stand, with a back that would organize and hide all my tech devices. I wasn't sure how it would all come together, so I made a 1:12 scale model first. Here's how I did it!

If you want to see how the full-scale version turned out, check it out here!

Step 1: Scale Down

I took the full measurement of everything and scaled it to 1:12. I cut the wood pieces on my Cricut Maker.

I scaled down pictures of the tech for the back, and pasted it onto sticky foam to give it depth.

Step 2: Prep

Once everything was cut out, I laid everything out and prepped it for assemble.

I made a hobby box to hold all my miniature supplies that you can see in the background. Here is how I made that, with links to some supplies.

Step 3: Assemble

Then I glued everything together, using mini clamps and helping hands while it dried.

Step 4: Done!

This miniature was the perfect way for me to see how the big version would come together.
