So I tried to recycle a propane tank that was to old to be filled. I was told they wouldn't take it so I decided to re-purpose it.

Step 1: Prep the Tanks

I threw a quick base of primer on the tanks, then a coat of yellow. Don't waste your time with spray paint, just grab a brush and go for it.

Step 2: Start the Details.

Paint the lower half blue for the coveralls

Step 3: The Monocle

I took some old 4" irrigation pipe and cut it into 3" sections. I hit these with a dusting of silver paint letting some black show through. I then trimmed it to fit the contour of the tank.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

I connected the monocle with black electrical tape, added some buttons, and the "G" on the pocket for Gru industries. Have fun
