These are earrings that I have made during the lockdown using only clay , paint and stitching pins. It is very easy to make and can be made within half an hour(drying extra time.... obviously 😜). So....let's make it!!!!

Supplies

Air dry clay of different colours (red , black , white) or
Air dry clay and paints(red , black)
Stitching pins
Silver nail polish
Glue
Top coat nail polish (optional)

Step 1: PREPARING THE CLAY (FOR WHITE CLAY, THOSE WHO HAVE COLOURED CLAY CAN SKIP THIS STEP)

Take your air dry clay and divide it into two equal parts.
Take one part and divide it in half.
Keep one part white.
Colour the bigger part red.
Colour the remaining one black.
Divide the red clay in two equal parts.

Step 2: COVER THE CLAY YOU ARE NOT WORKING WITH USING a WET WIPE TO PREVENT DRYING

Step 3: PREPARING THE EARRING BASE

Take the white clay.
Make two balls with it.
Flatten them out so that it is still a bit thick.
Make a hole in the centre of each.
Let them dry.
Paint using silver nail polish.
Your earring bases are ready!!

Step 4: MAKING THE BLACK DOTS

Take the black clay or colour.
Make ten small balls with it.
Flatten them so that they are very thin and small.
Let them dry.
Your black dots are ready!!!

Step 5: MAKING THE RED BASE

Divide the red clay in two balls.
Press one side on a flat surface so that it forms a dome shape.
Press the stitching pin on the flat side of the dome and remove it so that it forms a dent.
Put glue in the dent and stick the pin.
Do the same for both.
Let them dry.
Your Red base is ready!!!

Step 6: ASSEMBLING THE EARRINGS

Put some glue on the silver base.
Put it in the pin from the hole and stick it to the red base.
Let them dry.
Put five dots of glue on the dome , four dots opposite easy other in a cross and one in the centre.
Stick the black dots on the glue.
Do the same for the other earring.
Let them dry.
Paint with glossy top coat nail polish.
Dry.
Your Miraculous Ladybug Earrings are ready!!!!
