Miter Saw Cut

Intro: Miter Saw Cut

You will need a pencil,peice of wood you want to cut,tape mesure,and speed square.

STEP 1: Measure Wood to Desire Length

Once you measure it to the length you want draw a little line on the piece of wood.

STEP 2: Speed Square

Take the speed square and draw a full line cross the board.

STEP 3: Example

This is what it should look like.

STEP 4: Saftey

Before you cut always wear saftey googles and ask the teacher before using the saw.

STEP 5: Cutting

Put a X on the piece you DO NOT WANT.Cut on the opposite side of the piece you want and cut about a little bit away from the line.

Isn't a miter cut at an angle on the wood? The cut you are showing is straight.

yes and 90 degrees is still an angle. A very key angle to a wood worker
