Introduction: Mobile Phone Buster
Introduction to Mobile Phone Buster
Mobile phones have become more of a necessity rather than an accessory. They are like friends you can't do anything without them. They will always be there for you, even when you get lost!
Some of us ‘gaze’ , ‘chat’ , ‘play’ or even “sleep” with our cell phones. That’s actually pretty astounding.
But, is the usage of mobile phones a little too much? Where it could end up disturbance in some places like the petrol station, confidential meeting rooms or even examination halls?
To solve the above mentioned problem, an idea to prevent the usage of mobile phones in certain locations, behold the “Mobile Phone Buster”
This idea not only could prevents people from using mobile phones, but it could also be customized, not only the audio and visual effects, but also the level of warnings where you could change it to 1 level where you straight away warn or maybe 3 levels which consist of normal mode, friendly mode and warning mode ! So here is the example that I made which this device deals with the usage of mobile phones in the petrol station!
For example, a mobile phone buster can be placed at the petrol refuel station. An allowance of 10 seconds will be given if the consumer is using a cell phone near the petrol pump. A 15 seconds of friendly reminder music + lights will be turned on after the end of that 10 seconds allowance if the consumer forgets to stop using his / her cell phone while refuelling petrol.
What happens if the “target” stops? When he/she stops, he/she could click on the button of the side of the model.
Not only that this Mobile Phone Buster could be customized to suit the environment, it is also relatively small, light and portable where you could put most of the places! The budget of the model is also very cheap where it costs only USD 30! ( including the Arduino )
Thank you and please support my project!
Step 1: Introduction
Seeing the awesome introduction means you want to know how to build it right?
So let's begin!
Step 2: Ensuring Your Arduino
Step 3: LCD SETUP
Step 4: Accessories Setup ( RGB and Buzzer )
Step 5: LDR Setup
Step 6: Button Setup
Step 7: Packaging the Project
Step 8: Mobile Phone Detector
Step 9: Programming
Congrats on finishing the project!
Now just download the Arduino software and later the programming codes and programme your project!
Note : The codes could be change into the way you like once you understand thee whole project!

Step 10: Enjoying a Few Examples!
Here is a few examples that I made!
Feel free to download the video to take a look on how it works!
For the video, it is mainly an example of a mobile phone buster placed at the petrol refuel
station. An allowance of 10 seconds will be given if the consumer is using a cell phone near the petrol pump. A 15 seconds of friendly reminder music + lights will be turned on after the end of that 10 seconds allowance if the consumer forgets to stop using his / her cell phone while refueling petrol.
