Introduction: Mocha Latte Pie
This is a recipe I came up with to try and reproduce my favorite coffe drink in a pie. I call it a Mocha Latte Pie not just because of the pie, but because this is what I always called my son when my wife was pregnant with him. It may sound strange, but since I am "White" and my wife is Hiispanic I always called him Mocha Latte (brown coffee and chocolate with cream). Ha.......
Ingredients
1 unbaked pie shell
1/4 cup sour cream
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon instant coffee
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
Whipped topping
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla extract, coffee and chocolate syrup. Mix until smooth and coffee has dissolved. Fill pie shell.
Bake 50 minutes or until filling is set and a knife inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool. Serve with whipped topping.

I'm sure this is incredibly tasty, but it immediately made me think of "The Help."
That movie ruined chocolate pies for me forever!
