Introduction: Mocha Pudding - No Bake
This is such a easy recipe to make, you just need few ingredients to make this. This is a No bake egg-less Coffee and Chocolate Pudding recipe made with china grass /agar agar. I have combined coffee along with chocolate cause when both the flavors combine they give a very nice taste and flavor.

Ingredients:
Milk - 2 1/4 cup
China Grass / Agar Agar - 15 grams
Water - 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder - 2.5 tbsp
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Coffee - 2 Tsp
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Step 2: China Grass
Break china grass or agar agar in a sauce pan, add in 1/2 cup and mix well with your hands. Set aside and soak for 15 mins.
Step 3: Dissolve
Take 1/4 cup of milk in a bowl, add in cocoa and mix well. Set aside.
Dissolve coffee powder in 2 table spoon of warm water and keep it aside.
Step 4: Boil Milk
Take 2 cups of milk and sugar in a sauce pan, Heat till the milk comes to a boil.
Now add in cocoa mix, coffee mix and heat in medium flame. Add in vanilla and mix well.
Step 5: Final Heating
Heat china grass sauce pan on low heat till it is melted.
Add in china grass mix to the coffee-choco mix and whisk well.
Step 6: Set the Pudding
Take the serving dish. Pour the chocolate mix in and let this cool for couple of hours. Pop this in fridge and set it for 4 to 6 hours. Garnish with some cashew broken into small pieces.

Sounds easy and wonderful. Can I buy the china grass (agar agar) at Lee Lee's market, here in Peoria?

Can gelatin be used instead of agar agar? I can not buy it where I live

Agar comes in flakes, powder, or bars. Substitutes: gelatin (Substitute one tablespoon powdered gelatin for every tablespoon of powdered agar. Gelatin is made from animal by-products.) From what I know gelatin needs a small heating too to dissolve it.
