Introduction: Moscow Mint-Mule
Greetings comrade! Do you have too much Wodka lying around? Da? Sounds like a good problem to have if you ask me!
Step 1: Gather Ingredients
You shall require:
- Mint
- Lime
- Lime Juice
- Vodka (we used Wodka Vodka)
- Ginger Beer (not ale, BEER)
- a Shaker
- a Muddler
- a Mug
- grumpy looking girlfriend
Step 2: Combine Liquids
Stir together 2oz Vodka with 1oz lime juice if you're creating this cocktail for one. I trust you have the imagination to extrapolate from there if you have guests.
Step 3: The Mint
Tear up about five mint leaves and muddle it about in the lime/vodka mix.
Step 4: Pour, Garnish, and Enjoy Comrade!
Shake the mint/vodka/lime together in ice. Pour into 8oz mugs and add ginger beer. Garnish with lime and a mint stem with some leaves on it. This beverage is traditionally served in a copper mug. Surprisingly the metallic mug thing adds an interesting bit of flavor. Unfortunately, I didn't have one lying around like everyone else apparently does.
