Step 1: Supplies
What you will need: A plastic water bottle A bike with bumpy tires
Step 2: Assembly
Crush the bottle. Then shove it in between the tire and the top of the fork (look at the picture for better explanation).

you didn't mention that this makes the tires bald... and it's dangerous. I did this on my bike once and it locked the front wheel and I flipped over the handlebars. not trying to blame you for my extremely minor injuries, but people should be aware that this is dangerous

This is something you do as a 10 year old, I do not assume any 10 year olds use instructables

perhaps a better title would be "make your mountain bike sound like a motor bike" . Back in the stone ages we used clothes pins to attach playing cards so they hit our spokes making a motor like sound. I used a heavy duty zip tie on my 6yo grandsons bike, he said "popaw that's strange"

Ok. Thank you for the tip. This is my second instructible so I am open to tips or suggestions. Thanks again! :)

Is it a joke??

What part are you confused about? No it is not a joke, it actually does make a sound somewhat like a motorcycle or dirtbike.
