Mounting and Framing a Canvas Map

This instructable describes the process I used to mount and frame a canvas map.

Step 1: Adhesive

Spray adhesive to a piece of thin plywood and role flat.

Step 2: Frame

Cut wood to length and miter to create a fitted frame for the mounted canvas.

Step 3: Glue

Glue up the corners.

Step 4: Sand and Prime

Touch up the priming and finish sand the frame to prepare for paint.

Step 5: Paint

I used a satin black spray paint.

Step 6: Size

Cut the mounted map and plywood to fit the frame.

Step 7: Staple

Staple the mounted map to the frame and attach sawtooth hangers.

Step 8: Enjoy
