Parts
Step 1: Make Domino Board
- Cut your board to whatever size you would like (the example shown is 480x180mm).
- Round your corners using sandpaper or a sanding disk if available.
- Drill 4 holes using the dimensions in the image with a 10mm drill bit
Step 2: Make 90mm Rod With M6 Insert Threads
The example shown uses a rod with a length of 90mm but feel free to use whatever length rod you like.
- Measure and cut rod
- Mark the center on both the top and bottom
- Drill a hole 40mm deep on both ends using a 6mm drill bit
- Dill a hole 15mm deep on both ends using an 8mm drill bit
- Using a drill bit extender and the proper sized bit, screw in an insert nut on both ends (tip: once the insert nut is in place, refrain from removing and replacing it as it can lessen the strength of the grip the nut has in the wood)
Step 3: Assemble and Use
- Using the M6 bolt, screw the board, spacer, and rod together on all four sides.
- Enjoy your new Muli stool.
