Multi-Patterned Lamp #HMS2018

Here’s a way to make a multi-patterned lamp

Step 1: Supplies & Materials

You will need a:

Cutter

Ruler

Pencil

Any cardboard

Light Bulb with socket chord

Hot Glue Gun (Optional) or Glue

Step 2: Make 4 Frames

You will need to make frames for the base of the lamp. Get a ruler and make a measurement that is 19cm. This will be your biggest frame. Make measurements going down by 2, which makes it 17cm etc. The smallest frame you will get is 3cm

Step 3: Cutting the Frames

After drawing the frames, you will have to take a cutter and start cutting the frame until you get 36 individual pieces.

Step 4: Constructing the Base

After getting all your pieces, take the four 19cm frames, and connect them together and glue them until you get a cube.

Step 5: Making Patterns

After making the cube, take the other pieces and make patterns. Even though I made the cube first, I am still able to make patterns on it.

Step 6: Put in the Light Bulb

After making the patterns, put the light bulb.

Step 7: Complete

I like your design! I think adding paper to diffuse the light would be a fun variation too :)
