This instructable walks you through the process of making a simple multifunctional beanie neck gaiter. You do not need to be a professional seamstress to make this warm accessory. Have fun and get creative with the fabric. Hope you all enjoy! :)

This pattern is super easy to use. Download, print, and cut out!

We are using a thin knit and sweater fabric. We had these laying around the shop and wanted to test them out. The link above directs you to the standard style fleece used to make very warm gaiters. Feel free to use any STRETCHY fabric. Get Creative!

We highly recommend using a serger. But, if you do not have one no worries! Just be sure to use a zigzag stitch. This stitch is best for stretchy knit fabric. It allows the stitch to stretch with the fabric.

Step 3: Tracing and Cutting Bottom Panel

-Place the panel on the fold of the first fabric. Keep in mind you can us the same fabric for both panels. We are using two different types to show the variations you can create.

-Trace around the pattern.

-Cut out. You should end up with one long rectangle after it is unfolded.

Step 4: Tracing and Cutting Top Panel

-Place the top panel on the fold of the second fabric.

-Trace around the pattern.

-Cut out. You should end up with one long rectangle after it is unfolded. The top is taller then the bottom panel so make this fabric selection wisely. This will be the majority of the gaiter.
