Mushroom House - Watercolor Illustration (PAINTING PROCESS)

In this Instructable I will show you how I've painted my latest illustration: Mushroom House.

Step 1: Watercolors Used

In the picture you can see the watercolors I've just bought :)

Step 2: Watercolors' Test

This is the test of transparency and granulation of those watercolors. Unless for the white, they are all transparent and bright.

The first four colors (watercolor tubes) are also granulated. Awesome!

Step 3: Base Colors

For test those watercolors I've prepared a simple illustration.

I've started painting wet on wet with very diluited colors, and then I added some shadows.

Step 4: Mushroom Cap

I've painted first base colors wet on wet.

After paint dried, I've added shadows wet on dry.

Step 5: Grass + Reflections

I've colored grass wet on wet using yellow and green.

With white paint I've drawn reflections using a dip pen.
