Music Suitcase
Intro: Music Suitcase
Music Suitcase
We wanted a opportunity to listen to our music without wasting much money with Bose or other expensive devices. We decided to built a individual setup. Portable, and netty.
we prefer elegance and good music quality.
There is no better way to realise this without a Suitcase.
It consists of:
-a suitcase
- a moped battery (5 Amh)
-two car loudspeakers (200W RMS)
- two LED stripes (blue and white 12V)
STEP 1: From Inside
The inside is as simple as genial.
To clarify our work, we draft a circuit diagram for the ones who understand the cabling in the case.
The process:
you need a Suitcae which is high enough to fit two speakers. Otherwise there will be not enough space for the battery and the car amp.
Than you can cut two holes in the cover for the speakers.
Please keep in mind to avoid imbalance when you set in the battery and amp.
On the left we used AA batteries for two LEDs on the top of the Suitcase. They repot us if the music suitace is turned on or not.
On the right we placed the Aux connection. If you dont use the box you can simply disconnect the cable and put it in the inside.
STEP 2: The Result
The result is a well handable Suitcase for music.
You can listen to music for about 5 hours with the highest volume turned on.
we spend 2 days to plan, built and test it.
To a certain degree it is also waterproof and dust proof so you are albe to take it with you on the beach or where ever you want to go to enjoy your music with friends.
It is eye-catching and we had some inquires.

I really like this idea! It is a way to play music in an unique way and looks really cool at the same time! The only negative things I could say were to go into a little more detail on the wiring and internal setup, but apart from that, it's an amazing idea!!! Another idea would to be to have the internal wiring be taken out and used as an actual suitcase with an amazing design on the outside! Great work here.
