Intro: My EDC Kit
Hello, Since this is my first instruct-able any comments & questions are appreciated but, please be nice.
BTW, things in parentheses are my own two-sense.
I have always been a bit of a survival enthusiast and this is the 6th generation of my EDC (Every Day Carry) kit. It is water and crush proof. I carry this every where I go and have never had it even questioned by security. The entire kit is about 3 1/2x 2 1/2 x 1/2 inches. Inside there is a Burton wallet survival kit with compass, magnification lens (for fire starting), and some survival / first aid cards. After that there is a razor blade,some matches(Yay redundancy! Of course if the sun isn't shining the lens is useless.), 1 square foot foil ( for cooking / making little hats etc...), 15 feet of Kevlar�ïÿýïÿý�ï�ÿ�ý�ïÿý�ï�ïÿý�ÿ�ïÿý�ý�ïÿýïÿý�ïÿý�ï�ïÿýïÿý�ïÿý�ÿ�ïÿýïÿý�ïÿý�ý�ïÿýïÿý�ï�ÿ�ý�ïÿý�ï�ïÿý�ÿ�ïÿý�ý�ïÿýïÿý�ï�ÿ�ý�ïÿýïÿý�ïÿý�é sewing thread( great stuff), fish hooks (obvious uses), sewing needles( stitching wounds, fish hooks, and even SEWING), spare safety pins, one latex unlubricated condom (for water storage). All of this wrapped up in a Mylar survival blanket(shelter, signaling, etc...) and a double layer of duct tape (I have submerged it in water several times and there was no leaking). On the outside at the top there is a safety pin so that I can secure it to my clothes even if I have no pockets.
