Introduction: My Homemade Deodorant

I was using Desitin ointment for some time for chaffing. One day I get the idea to add some Tea Tree Oil to make it a deodorant. I like these GoTubbs as they are great for traveling and make all three at once, which gives me about 6-8 week supply.

Disclaimer: do this at your own risk. Made sure you will not have a reaction to ingredients.

Step 1: What You Need:

storage container
Desitin

Tea Tree Oil

Step 2: Mix

Fill containers 1/3 to 1/2 with Desitin (the Gotubb holds 1 tablespoon)

Add 15 drops of Tea Tree Oil (you may want to try with less and adjust to your needs)

Stir until thoroughly mixed with a Q-tip with cotton removed.

Fill container and stir again.

Step 3: Use

I just touch the pad of my index finger into the mixture about 1/3 the thickness of my finger

This is enough for one arm pit for me.

Rub it in.

It may leave some white residue on the inside of your shirt.
