Introduction: My Miniature Fishing Rod

About: I'm back!
This is a miniature fishing rod that I made out of the bottom half of some old Shimano rod in my garage. I wrapped the (falling apart) cork handle in electrical tape, and added an eyelet to the tip of the rod. I also bought a $10 (completely enclosed) Shimano reel at wallmart, just to put on this. This reel is excellent for creek fishing, as you can take it nearly anywhere with minimal tangles with trees and such. But, it also works great on the lake. Overall, I am more than happy with this. In the video, thats me catching carp off the bottom of Lake Wellington. (And rocking the flow shorts with high socks.)
