Introduction: My Wine/Booze Box, Oak & Pine Bookends on Lid.
The bottoms, sides & ends are all Oak pallet plank. It has a real good worm hole in it too. The top is a piece of thin plywood with Pine bookends. I found the bookends in a Pine 4X4 when I milled it down. I even hand pull the nails & reuse them in my boxes (all nails, other than pin nails) . This box is roughly 16" L x 6" H x 6" D. This is just 1 of many boxes I've made from pallet wood.

Very attractive piece. Just goes to show how scruffy old pallet wood can be transformed into a really interesting and useful gift.
