NK Banshee BUILD

A while ago I built a roman candle shooting k'nex shotgun that was very popular among knexers. Many people wanted a build Instructable, and I promised them that I would create one. Well, it took a little bit longer than I expected, but I finally finished the how-to! Here following are the steps on how to build your very own NK Banshee!

This build Instructable is a little hard to explain, so feel free to ask me questions while building/ using! Also, before use, you MUST read the disclaimer on the final step. Thank you.

Step 1: Hand Guards-Pieces

You will need to build the established number of each of the pieces shown in the above pictures. Please note the orientation, number, and shape of each piece.

Step 2: Hand Guards- Assembly Part One

Slide the shown piece onto four grey rods. Next, add blue separators where shown.

Step 3: Hand Guards- Assembly Part Two

Add the hand guard pieces in the above order as shown.

Step 4: Hand Guards- Assembly Caps

Add blue caps to the hand guard assembly. Also, add orange connectors and green rods to the other end of the assembly as shown.

Step 5: Eye/ Face Guard Holder

Build the shown piece and add it to the back of the hand guard assembly.

Step 6: Eye/ Face Guard

Build the eye and face guard and connect it to the hand guard assembly as shown.

Step 7: "Trigger"

This trigger is not real, it is just for looks.

Build the piece shown and add it to the back of the hand-guard assembly.

Step 8: Stock

Build the stock, shown here, and add it to the back of the hand guard assembly.

Step 9: Iron Sights/ Scope

Build the iron sights and scope as shown and add it to the top of the hand-guard assembly.

Step 10: Front Barrel

Build the front barrel assembly, as shown here. Cover it with thick tires.

Step 11: Barrel Tip

Build the tip of the barrel as shown here.

Step 12: Bayonet Assembly

Build the bayonet assembly as shown here. You can store the bayonet in the center of the underbarrel.

Step 13: Bipod Assembly

Build the bipod assembly as shown. The grey separators are necessary for sturdiness. Attach it to thr underbarrel assembly.

Step 14: Loading the Roman Candle

To load the Roman candle, simply slide it down the top of the barrel under the blue rods as shown all the way until it hits the back of the eye/ face guard. The fuse should be sticking out the front of the barrel. Make sure you load the roman candle correctly!!!

Step 15: Done!

Congratulations! You now have your very own NK Banshee Roman Candle Shooter! Have fun!
