Introduction: Neighborhood Tree Hobbit Door

About: I am a mom of 3, a grandmother of 6, and an accountant. My hobbies are gardening and woodworking.

Not much to this, really.

Lots of kids walking around lately, with Coronavirus lurking.

I thought it would be fun to build a hobbit door in our tree.

Step 1: Materials

I had some old barn wood lying around. I measured and cut a circular door with my jigsaw. Then I cut it in thirds and glued it together to replicate a sort of medieval looking dungeon opening. After the glue dried, I drilled a hole in the door to make it look more creepy. Then I cut a wooden door handle and glued it on the door. Bingo.
