About: John Kramer and Mark Fleming are SuperTenders serving the comedic and cocktail needs of the Chicago Improv Community.

With 2015 now here, a lot of you out there are thinking that it might be a good idea to quit drinking for a while (or for good) so here's a SuperTender Special Mocktail to help you along: A "New Year's Resolution."

It's a delicious drink made from Ginger Simple Syrup, Mint, Lime and Soda Water -- and when proper;y prepared it looks very much like a mojito.

Step 1: First, Make Your Ginger Simple Syrup

Making Ginger Simple Syrup is very easy! First, slice up 1 cup of fresh ginger root.

Next, bring 3/4 of a cup of water to boil. Stir in 1 cup of sugar and the cup of ginger root into the pot.

Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved into the water, then remove the pot from the heat.

Let the mixture cool, and then strain it into a bottle. Keep the syrup refrigerated until use.

Step 2: Now Mix Together . . .

Add a few ice cubes to a shaker cup and then pour in:

1 oz. Ginger Infused Simple Syrup

I Sprig of Fresh Mint

Juice from 1/4 of a Lime

Shake the ingredients up for a few seconds and then pour the contents into a 10 oz glass.

Fill the glass with soda water and garnish your New Years Resolution with a lime wedge.

Step 3: Now Enjoy

Share your drink with a friend and Toast the New Year with your New Year's Resolution! Then sit back and enjoy our SuperTender Episode!
