No Sew T-Shirt Tote Bag

Do you have lots of old t-shirts that aren't really suitable for donation? Do you love reusable bags for the grocery, but hate most can't be washed and how expensive they are? Well, I have a solution for you!!! And you don't even need a sewing machine! Just a T-Shirt and a pair of scissors.....

Step 1: Making the Cuts

Match the bottom of the shirt up, front and back, at the bottom. Starting at one end, make a cut approximately 3" about every 1/2", continuing all the way to the other side. You will need to cut the side of the first and the last piece to make them each two strips.

Step 2: Closing Off the Bag

Matching up the back piece with the front piece double knot the pieces continuing all the way across.

Step 3: Creating the Handles

Cut the sleeves off by cutting on the inside of the seams. Cut the neck off by cutting around the seam. Some small necks may need to have a larger opening cut.
