Step 1: Step 1

First you must gather up all the materials needed to make the non-toxic Lava Lamp. Water Vegetable oil Food coloring (I used blue food coloring) Bottle any size (2 liter works best) Alka-Seltzer tablets opt. Flashlight (for lamp effect)

Step 2: Step 2

Fill your bottle with 2 in of water. Same for any bottle. Then fill the rest of the bottle up with vegetable oil. Remove any labels from your bottle so you can see what is happening inside the bottle.

Step 3: Step 3

Put 5 or 6 drops of food coloring into the bottle of water/oil.

Step 4: Step 4

Drop in a Alka-Seltzer tablet. You may add more tablets for a new and cooler effect.

Step 5: Optional Step

If you want to make your non-toxic Lava Lamp even cooler place a flashlight or light underneath or besides the lava lamp and turn the lights off. Watch your non-toxic Lava Lamp shine in the dark. Pls vote for me!! Thx
