Introduction: Noni’s Lemon Pound Cake

For this cake you Will need 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flower, you 1 teaspoon of baking powder you need 4 eggs you need 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Your going to want to 1/4 cup of lemon juice and another 1/3

Step 1: Gather Supplies

First take Preheat your oven to 350 degrees on bake and the Take all your ingredients and gather them on the counter one of the steps of cooking is being organized and not messy. you want to make sure you have all your ingredients and don’t forget any because you’ll then ruin your cake.

Step 2: Mixing the Ingredients Together

Now your going to want to gather all your ingredients and put them in the bowl, make sure to mix very well or else the cake will be all clumpy, you don’t want that so after you add all those ingredients mix well after you mix well your going to make sure it doesn’t have air bubbles in it if it does mix a little more, Tip: make sure the batter is mixed evenly and not leaving any flower out of the bowl.

Step 3: Putting the Batter in the Cake Pan

Next you’re going to want to get a cake pan different size for different recipe my recipe called for a 8 by 5 pan and after you add it to the pan make sure it’s spread evenly so that the cake isn’t lopsided.

Step 4: Bake the Cake

Next your going to put the cake in the oven and cook it for 40 - 50 minutes.

Step 5: Take Cake Out and Let It Cool

After it’s done take it out and let it cool for 15 to 20 minutes, don’t worry it’s almost time to eat.

Step 6: Enjoy

Last step is the most important enjoy your creation with your family

This turned out very well. It is not too sweet which was good in my opinion.
