Step 1: What You Need

Pieces of scrap leather, long rubber band, long container (preferred), pocket knife, or just something sharp

Step 2: Cut

Cut the bottom off the container. You can put that to the side for a minute. Cut the rubber band in half equally.

Step 3: Leather

Get your scrap leather and cut a good sling shot rectangle out of it. When you are done with that, either cut or punch a good sized hole (big enough for the rubber band to fit through ) on each side.

Step 4: Main Peice

Pull the rubber band through the holes in the leather. Secure each end with a knot.

Step 5: Back to Container

OK, get the container again. Poke a hole on each side of the cut end as shown. Stick the other ends of the rubber band through the holes and knot the ends.

Step 6: Finished Product
