Introduction: ONE SENSOR LINE FOLLOWING ROBOT

About: Hi, I am bharat .

in this instructables i am going to show you how to make a line follower robot using

only one sensor.

Step 1:

parts

transistor bc 547-1 resistor 470 ohms-2 variable resistor 10k-1 ir photo diode-1 ir led-1 diode in4007-1 spdt relay -1 pcb/perfboard/zero pcb/breadboard-1

Step 2:

i designed this simple circuit.this is how this circuit works

when sensor detects black line the relay drives one wheel which pushed it towards reflective surface but the moment it gets reflective surface the other wheel pushed it towards black line.watch video for more detailed

Step 3:

i made a pcb but you can use perfboard or zero pcb or breadboard.

and then i solder all the component on it.

Step 4:

to make chassis i am using a damaged piece pcb board but you can user a piece of cardboard or a piece of plastic.i am also using geared motors(converted from damaged servo)

i am using rubber band to hold motors and battery.also i added one battery for motor and i am using a pinch roller from old cassette player as front wheel also using two bottle cap as wheel and rubber bands for grip

Step 5:

i made all connections and i am using a black tape as track.
