Step 2: Pepakura
Pepakura is a free mask making software. Download Pepakura Designer and then download the obito war mask layout.
After opening Pepakura, open the obito layout you downloaded. From there measure the height of your head and scale it to the software
(there are all kinds of videos on the internet about how to scale your mask but so you know get a measuring tape and measure the top of your head to your chin in millimetres. My head height was 290 mm)
When thats done print it out and trace it on to the card board you have

Step 3: Puting Together the Cardboard Pieces
Its pretty straight forward from here. I put the pieces together using painters tape to keep them together and i tacked each piece with a hot glue gun. Its pretty easy.
Step 4: Paper Mache
When your done putting the cardboard pieces together cut up 1" squares of news paper and make the paper mache solution 1 part water and 1 part glue.
Using the paint brush i wet the cardboard mask surface then added a piece of knews paper and brushed it again with paper mache solution.
I added 4 layers of paper mache onto the cardboard mask. Also i let it dry completely before adding another layers but i was told you can have up to 3 layers at a time.
Dont forget to paper mache the inside of the mask. I only put one layer because i got lazy.

Step 5: Paper Mache Pulp
I didnt have all the materials to make paper mache clay. So i tryed to make some paper mache pulp.
To make paper mache pulp I tore toilet paper into small pieces, boiled some water and continuously stirred it untill it broke down to even smaller pieces.
From there drain the toilet paper, add glue and flower (i didnt use alot of flower) untill it turns to a paste texture.
Apply that to the mask. My paper mache pulp took 2 days to fully dry.

Step 6: Wood Filler
When the paper mache pulp is completely dry add a thin layer of wood filler on to the mask and let that dry. I waited untill the next day to insure the dryness was complete.
After the wood filler had dried i sanded it down for a smooth finish. First i used 80 grit sand paper then moved down to 120 grit sand paper.
Note: do not sand past the base of paper mache pulp. Your only trying to fill in the cracks and dents
I also used a Dremel to sand off the eye wholes for a nice round finish. You dont have to do this but i wanted the roundness to be perfect.

Step 7: Painting
I added 3 layer of white acrylic paint and let them dry.
Next i drew the circles to represent the Rinnegan. To make the circles as perfect as i could get them i taped the Pepakura paper printouts to the mask then traced them one at a time
Fill in your pencil drawings with black acrylic paint and let dry.

Step 8: Clear Spray Paint
Take your Obito mask out side and spray 3 to 4 layers of transparent/clear spray paint onto it.
When it is dry it should have a nice shine to it.

Step 9: Finishing Touches
I had few old small shirts laying around so i put them to use. I cut the sleeve off of a black long sleeve shirt then xut out a slot for an eye hole
I also cut a strip from a baby blue shirt for a head band. The last few pictures show how i put it together
I put on the black sleeve first. Then tied the blue headband on like a ninja turtle. Then i put the helmet on last.
