This prank randomly plays USB notification sounds. People will be on edge thinking something is wrong with their computer.

Supplies

  1. Raspberry Pi Pico
  2. I2S Amplifier
  3. 2" Speaker
  4. USB power source
  5. 3D printer
  6. Soldering tools and wire

Step 1: Program Pico

  1. Install CircuitPyton on to Pi Pico
  2. Copy code.py and sound files to Pico

Step 2: Wire It Up

Connect or solder wires to the Pico

  1. Pico 3V3 to breakout VIN
  2. Pico GND to breakout GND
  3. Pico GP0 to breakout BCLK
  4. Pico GP1 to breakout LRC
  5. Pico GP2 to breakout DIN
  6. Speaker + to screw terminal +
  7. Speaker - to screw terminal -

Step 3: 3D Print Box
