Intro: One Paper - One Folding Technique

this folding technique can make a variety of constructions

its a very good practice, going from 2d to 3d

you can make it bigger

or longer if you like it to be more flexible

STEP 1: Cut to Size

it’s best to start with A3 paper

Cut the A3 paper to half

STEP 2: Mark and Fold

fold an accordion

mark the width of the first strip

I made this one 1.5cm width

The folding should be very precise

Note that the line is straight on the sides

And that the strips are in the same width

STEP 3: Cut the Leftover

STEP 4: The Pattern We Want to Have

STEP 5: Marking the Triangle

choose the angle you like and the position you like

and use the ruler to mark the fold from both sides

STEP 6: This Is the Tricky Part

the first fold is the hardest

But once you get the point it go’s faster

It’s the same folding technique all the way

Let’s look on the first strip
half fold line goes up and half goes down

both of triangle lines goes up all the time

start changing the direction of the first strip fold

Follow the pattern from step 4 to start

STEP 7: Keep Folding

the triangle fold is the one how make the interesting constructions

Continue with the same folding all the way

STEP 8: Now Play :)
