Onion impression is one of the interesting ways to realize amazing design. The onion can be used to have different design depending on the direction in which it is cut.

Step 1: Preparing the Onion Surface

Take an onion and cut it in two halves (check). Now use a knife to make some cuts along the shape of the onion. Proceed slowly and accurately in this step. This is a necessary step because these small cuts will hold the color and would decide the fineness of the impressions.

Step 2: Painting the Onion

After making proper cuts, paint the color on it. The water content of color (check) should be optimum. Put the onion on the paper and keep it pressed for 5-10 seconds.
