Supplies

Step 1: Ingredients

For The Pudding Layer
  • 16 whole Oreos
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 4 tablespoons Corn Starch
  • ½ cup Water

For the Bottom Layer"Dirt" Layer

  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 32 whole Oreos

Top Layer

  • ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Garnishes

  • Oreos
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Sprinkles
  • Rolled Wafers

Step 2: The Pudding Layer - Crush Oreos

Place 16 whole Oreos (cookie and filling) in a zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. It's a fun way to take out any frustrations you may have :-) Crush them to about 1/4" - 1/2" in size.

Step 3: The Pudding Layer - Simmer

In a saucepan bring milk and sugar to a simmer. Add in white chocolate chips and stir until combined and white chocolate is melted. Bring mixture to a boil.

Step 4: The Pudding Layer - Corn Starch

In a small bowl, add corn starch to cold water and whisk until lump free. Add in cornstarch mixture to milk mixture and stir until mixture thickens (this takes about 2-3 minutes).Take mixture off heat.

Step 5: The Pudding Layer - Add Oreos

Add in crushed Oreos and stir until combined. Set this aside and allow to cool, stir occasionally until you assemble pudding cup.

Step 6: The Pudding Layer - Cooling

Because I am inpatient, I placed my pudding in a glass bowl and covered it with plastic wrap then set it in the freezer to cool. This is an optional step! You can, of course just set it aside to let it cool on it's own at room temperature. I was in a pinch and it helped out...just don't forget it in the freezer!

Step 7: The Bottom Layer - Melt Butter

For the bottom layer, begin by melting butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.

Step 8: The Bottom Layer - Crush Oreos

Crush 32 whole Oreos and place crushed Oreos in a large bowl.

Step 9: The Bottom Layer - Combine

Add melted butter to the crushed Oreo cookies. Mix until combined. Set aside and allow to cool.

Step 10: The Top Layer - Simmer

In a small saucepan heat whipped cream until it comes to a simmer. I used the same bowl which I had melted the butter in because "butter makes everything better." You do not have to use the same bowl though.

Step 11: The Top Layer - Make Ganache

Add chocolate chips to a bowl and pour over the warm whipped cream. Allow to chocolate chips to melt completely. Whisk mixture until everything is combined.

Step 12: The Top Layer - Cooling

This is an optional step, I placed my ganache in a separate glass bowl and covered it with plastic wrap then set it inside the fridge to cool, just don't forget about it! You can always just allow it to cool at room temperature :-)

Step 13: Assemble!

  1. Add the Dirt layer on the bottom of serving glass.
  2. Add the pudding next.
  3. Add the top chocolate layer.

Step 14: Garnish With Toppings!

Top with Oreo cookie and chocolate chips and sprinkles.

Add one rolled wafer to each.

Step 15: Enjoy!

Enjoy this delicious dessert!
