Origami Frog

Origami is the ancient art of Japanese paper folding. Anybody is capable of practicing this and the results can be both beautiful and relaxing. In this instructable we will learn how to create a frog using the basic tools needed in the art of origami.

Step 1: Obtain a Square Peice of Paper, I Have Labeled the Corners for an Easier Perspective.

Step 2: Fold the Bottom Corner Upwards So That the Number 1 and 3 Are Touching and a Triangle Is Created.

Step 3: Fold the Right an Left Corners Inwards So That the Horizontal Edges Meet in the Center.

Step 4: Fold the Two Pointed Tops Downwards So That They Align With the Edge of Their Corresponding Corner.

Step 5: Fold the Pointed Edges of Your Paper Inward So That They Meet in the Center. These Will Be Your Frogs Eyes!

Step 6: Flip Your Paper Over and Fold the Paper Over and Fold the Right and Left Corners Inwards So That They Meet in the Middle.

Step 7: Fold the Two Tips of Your Paper Which Are Meeting in the Middle Outwards, This Will Create Your Frogs Feet!

Step 8: Fold the Bottom Flap of Paper Upward in Order to Give Your Frog Support.

Step 9: Flip Over Your Creation! You Will Be Able to See the Eyes of Your Frog and Also Open His Mouth!

Step 10: Decorate Him! Draw Eyes, a Mouth, Spots or Stripes; Whatever You Feel Your Frog Needs to Truly Look His Best!
