Introduction: Ornithopter
hi, this is my first instuctable an iam going to show you that how can you make an dragon fly ornithopter. i have already make one and itsd fly preety god but you canot make this in just 1 day...i make mine in 2 days...so lets start.
Step 1: Making of Macanisym
now make its macanisym..get a tin peice and give him a shape like in the give pic and you need 4 peice like this..
Step 2: Macanisym
now give a shape of your macanisym by folding them like this..
Step 3: Fnishing of Macanisym
now take a pin o a peice of wire and three beads and connect your macanisym like the given picture..but dont add glue on it ,then it will not work smothly.. (BUT DONT CONFUSE BECAUSE IN THIS PIC THE MACANISYM IS DIFFERENT BUT YOU NEED TO CONNECT YOUR MACANISYM IN THE SAME WAY).
AND IF YOU WISH THEN YOU CAN ADD PLASTIC TUBE BETWEEN THE CENNET OF MACANISYM FOR SMOTHNESS (you can get plastic tube in the pen).
Step 4: Now Make the Connecting Rods.
now make the connecting rods..you need to make them by verry light material ... in this pic the both connecting rods are diferent to each other you also need to make them in the same way but in this pic there is only 2 rods you need to make 4 rods..
Step 5: Now Its Time to Make Cank..
in this step you ned to make crank...just make a cank and add conecting rods on it like the given picture.
Step 6: Making of Ornithopter's Body
hmm..now this is dificult to understand because i dont have the full instructable.. but if you see it clearly then you can understand easly.. make the ornithopte's body by balsa wood and join it by supe glue.....(IN THIS STEP IAM POSTING SEVERAL PICTURE...SEE THEM AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND....THAT HOW CAN YOU MAKE THE BODY)... SOME OF THE PICTURES ARE NOT THE PART OF THIS INSTRUCTABLE...... BECAUSE THE CONECTING RODS ARE MADE UP OF WOOD AND MACANISYM IS DIFERENT...
Step 7: Making of Wings..
now the body is compelete and now make the wings i dont have any plane for wings but you can make them by your concept like in the picture..make them by balsa wood and lite plastic film.. and the same material for tail.
see the below picture and make the wings.... and as i say some of picture is not are the part of instructable but you can get an idea by seeing them. ..... once you ad the wings then ad rubber band.....now iam going to ad video thats how its fly... if you have any comment or question you can ask me...and in the last (SOOOOO SOORY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH :D)
