Introduction: Outdoor Wall Light
A steampunk wall light made from a large empty glass jar
Step 1: Materials
The first thing you need is an empty jar that is big enough for a light bulb to fit easily inside. Mine has a neck that is just slightly bigger than a peice of plastic drain-pipe that I had laying around. A brass stair handrail bracket, a lamp holder and an old piece of 3"x1" mahogany completes the main materials.
Step 2: Put It Together
I was too keen to complete the project to remember to take pictures as I was making it but I'm sure readers will be able to work out how it goes together. I've added some notes to the pictures.

This isn't really an instructable. An instructable shows you how to replicate the project yourself in a step-by-step manner. This is just a finished product and a blanket statement to "figure it out yourself" which is kind of the antithesis of what this site is all about.
