About: Redo on profile: I am a railfan that goes out to see trains in person just about every week. I am an HO Scale model Railroader and a K'Nex builer. I am a believer in our Almighty God and Savior Jesus. I have u…

Hey everyone! Here is another ball machine for you today! I call it the Over The Model Railroad Ball Machine (couldn't think of anything better, I'm running out of ideas). This ball machine, as in the title, has a tunnel system the trains can run through while the ball machine activity is still going on. This took me about maybe a week (euh I don't remember because I really delayed on posting this). The track that I have in this went around the walls of my living room and had a yard off to the left of the pic. Some of these pictures (like in the next couple of steps) are taken at a different time. But on another hand, this ball machine was kinds fun to make. I hope you will enjoy this segment here! Now, let's see the different parts!

Step 1: Lift

For once I decided not to use a chain lift. Those things are always so hard for me to make perfect. So I looked up some inspiration ideas and I found something I could easily do. I found the sliding arm lift by sandroknexmaster and thought, oh I think I can make my own version. Lo and behold I did. Much smaller than the one made by sandro, but not a replica, and not the same design. I'm not copying their work, people. It's just inspiration, just as a clarification.

Step 2: The Path Way

This is nothing too special. Just a whole bunch of yellow connectors and blue and green rods (with a few white rods) shaping a bendy and curvy-ish path. The classic. The turning platform made from white connectors and such was a great add on. The turn seemed pretty sudden and tight, as you can see in the photo, so I made this.

Step 3: The Belt Line

Sorry if this is blurry. I didn't look at the picture after I took it.

This here is something fun! It is a conveyor belt that when the max capacity of 4 balls on there is reached, the front ball closest to the lift will be pushed out and roll onto the lift pad. I thought it was an interesting add on.

Well that's all! Hope you all enjoyed! As always, this is knexified and I'll see you later!
